How does a market photographer infuse life in a picture? A photo or an image which does not have life - 'the X factor' as they call it - is simply wastage. Efficient market photographers know how to put life in the images that they click. And how do they do it? There are simple but fundamental principles that guide the rules to create a good image. Some of them are listed below.
Light - the most prominent of all elements, light is, in other words, the essence of any kind of photography - good or bad. If light is not used properly, then the image can be nothing but a sheer wastage. And if used properly, it can not only bring out the mood, emotion or expression in the picture, but also has the ability to tell stories in a single picture.

Subject - Can you dream a photo without a subject? Every photo has to have a subject. It can be scenic beauty of a place, it can be a human / animal model. It can be a product. But the most prominent thing that a market photographer has to keep in mind is - since his pictures are taken for market use, therefore the field has to be strong adequate to tell a story or transport the message sufficiently and effectively.
Background - background should ideally be simple when you have to highlight the subject, especially when the field is telling the story or conveying the message over to the audience. A simple background does not draw or divert the attention of the audience and the focus is entirely on the subject.

These were just three of the very critical aspects of photography. And for the market photographer, it is highly prominent to give special attention to all of them. The experienced and the scholar market photographer knows how to create harmony with all these prominent elements.
